In December of 2024, the Lord decided to call my Mom home to Him.
This was devastating for our family and a loss we weren't fully prepared for.
Many questions and emotions ran through my mind (and still do) - the grieving process is a pretty turbulent one.

But in all of this I have great hope and assurance.
“Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live” - Jesus
John 11:25
I miss her immensely but I'm so thankful that she's exactly where she is supposed to be, free of suffering and pain and enjoying eternal and perfect peace.

I had no idea how to process all the things I've been feeling but it dawned on me that the best way I can express myself is to be creative - draw, design and animate.

I created this short piece to highlight some of the things I distinctly hold dear about my mom.
1. 🎵 I remember growing up with music constantly playing in the background of our family home and my mom always dancing while doing anything.
2. 🍳 She was an AMAZING cook! Feeding people was part of her love language.
3. 🕯️ She always burnt incense or candles and my parents home always smelt amazing and inviting
4. 💐 My Mom loved having flowers scattered throughout the house. It always made the house feel warm and bright.
5. ✝️ And the thing I hold most dear was her example of faith even in the face of strong opposition - its always been an example to me and helped shape my own personal faith.
I love you Mom
Happy Birthday ❤️
